But Reid told BBC Spotlight: "I've spoken to [Brighton boss] Gus Poyet and they are [interested in signing Noone], but I'm interested in keeping him.
"He's a good player. He's bubbly and hopefully he turns it on. That's all that concerns me."
Plymouth have been given until 9 February by a High Court judge to clear their debts with HM Revenue & Customs.
The Devon-club owes HMRC £760,000, which could be cleared in part by the sale of players during the January transfer window.
