Paul Gallagher had given Argyle a 67th minute lead after being set up by Steve MacLean but goals in the 78th and 81st minutes from Dickinson stole the show.
Argyle are stilll handily placed and sit just 2 points off the play offs in 9th place.
Next Saturday the Pilgrims face a trip to Yorkshire to play Doncaster Rovers.
