Plymouth boss Peter Reid will be without defensive duo Bondz N'Gala and Kari Arnason for the visit of Bristol Rovers but could be boosted by the return of club captain Carl Fletcher. N'Gala lasted just four minutes of the 4-2 defeat by Oldham before conceding a penalty and receiving his marching orders for denying a goalscoring opportunity whilst Arnason was dismissed in first-half stoppage time for violent conduct. N'Gala will sit out the first game of a two-match ban and Arnason will begin a four-match ban, meaning 17-year-old Curtis Nelson could be handed his first start for the club after impressing as a substitute. Fletcher has missed the last two games with a dead leg but could return to the fold and despite struggling with an ankle injury, Reda Johnson is likely to play through the pain barrier for the second time in four days as Argyle go in search of only their second league win in six attempts.
