Aston Villa and Everton are both reported to be interested in signing the Pilgims' promising young right-back, Paul Connolly.
At only 20, Connolly has risen through the Plymouth youth system, but has consolidated his position in the first team by consistantly delivering impressive performances in this season's Championship campaign.
Former Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock, who now runs the show at Southampton, has always been suspected of wanting to poach Connolly (and also, rumour has it, Luke McCormick), as he has witnessed his potential more than most.
Despite recently signing a new 3-year deal to keep him at Home Park, reports that he is being scouted additionally by Villa and now Everton indicate difficult decisions on the horizon for Bobby Williamson.
