A fee of around £100,000 is thought to have been agreed between the two clubs for the 32-year-old French midfielder who recently turned down the offer of a new contract at Home Park.

"Plymouth will always be a very special place for me but time doesn't stand still," Friio has said.

"Sometimes you have to make big decisions and thus was an offer that I could not turn down."

Friio's move is expected to be completed on Monday.
