Young earns Pilgrims a point
Plymouth substitute Luke Young's late 20-yard free-kick earned them a 1-1 draw with Cheltenham at Home Park.
Cheltenham striker Byron Harrison grabbed his 10th of the season with a deflected shot that spun up to beat Plymouth goalkeeper Luke McCormick in the 53rd minute to open the scoring.
Until then McCormick had kept Argyle in the match. The keeper made a brilliant double save in the 19th minute, fingertipping Kemar Roofe's volley on to a post and then leaping off the floor to bat away defender Curtis Nelson's attempted clearance.
Striker Jamie Cureton sent a 25-yard curling shot just past the post in the 44th minute as Cheltenham attempted to find a way through the home defence.
Within seconds of the restart Cureton whistled a wind-assisted 20-yard shot dipping just over the angle and McCormick back-pedalled to tip over Roofe's audacious 30-yard chip in the 50th minute.
Scott Brown superbly finger-tipped substitute Luke Young's 35-yard shot on to the post in the 63rd minute but the diving Cheltenham keeper could do nothing about Young's next on-target effort with six minutes remaining.
