Plymouth V Dag Red at Home Park - Match Preview

Goalkeeping poser for Sheridan

Plymouth manager John Sheridan has a goalkeepering dilemma for their clash with Dagenham at Home Park.

The former Chesterfield boss has made Luke McCormick his number one in Sky Bet League Two matches since August but ex-Barnet shot-stopper Jake Cole stepped in for both FA Cup first-round matches with Lincoln and kept two clean sheets.

One player who is certain to start is Reuben Reid who grabbed a hat-trick in Wednesday's 5-0 win over the Imps while Andres Gurrieri will hope to keep his place after shining on a rare start for the Pilgrims.

Plymouth welcome the Daggers in the hope of making it seven matches unbeaten in all competitions and looking to extend an unbeaten run on home soil which stretches back to September 14.

Dagenham's leading scorer Rhys Murphy will be assessed before kick-off after he sustained a knock in the 2-0 victory over Burton last time out.

West Ham youth product Anthony Edgar could make his full debut a week on from making his first Daggers appearance off the bench.

Centre-back Scott Doe is set to return to the starting line-up after overcoming a calf problem which forced him to settle for a place among the substitutes against the Brewers.

Wayne Burnett's side are aiming to avoid a fourth successive defeat on the road.
