Exeter striker John O'Flynn is pushing for a starting place after recovering from a groin injury.
Defender Richard Duffy is hopeful of shaking off a slight hamstring problem in time for the trip to Home Park.
Plymouth Argyle manager Peter Reid told BBC Spotlight: "It's been a very difficult time for the club for sure, but all we can do is go out there and get a good result.
Reid calls for derby to be dignified
"It's a great derby game. There was trouble at the last one so we don't want any of that nonsense.
"We're going out to win and hopefully we will, but you learn to win and lose with dignity, and this club has got that.
"We're going through tough times. Let's hope we get it right on Saturday."
