Plymouth boss Peter Reid is looking at updating the club's scouting system ahead of the 2010/11 npower League One campaign. Goalkeeping coach Geoff Crudgington was in charge of the club's scouting at the end of last season and, although Reid still expects him to be involved with the work in some capacity, he is aiming to take a fresh approach. He told the club's official website: "I might be updating the scouting system. I think the scouting system for finding players is very important. "It's something I'm having a look at. I will be updating it over the next couple of weeks. Geoff will be involved in some way - he knows the area and has got a good knowledge of goalkeepers, so we will be tapping into that." The Pilgrims, who have decided not to pursue their interest in on-trial midfielder Cody Arnoux, have announced a friendly at QPR on Friday July 30 (7.30pm kick-off).
