Plymouth manager Peter Reid is sweating over the fitness of Craig Noone and Reda Johnson ahead of Saturday's trip to Walsall. Midfielder Noone picked up an injury in training but is expected to be fit for the clash at the Banks's Stadium. However, defender Johnson is struggling to be in contention. The Benin international has not trained this week, which could pave the way for 17-year-old Curtis Nelson to receive a first-team opportunity. Nelson impressed for the reserves in midweek and Reid singled him out for praise. The Argyle boss said: "Nelson was terrific and he is with us all the time now. He has handled training really well and he will definitely be in the squad [for Walsall]."
