The Argyle striker was replaced just a-quarter-of-an-hour into the Reserves friendly match against Weymouth on Tuesday night having suffered a groin strain.
Better news on the injury front however was received as Tony Capaldi completed another 60 minutes in his comeback from a broked leg.
The Northern Ireland international had a hand in both Argyle goals in the 2-1 win against the non-league outfit. Scott Laird and Chris Zebroski the Pilgrims scorers on the night.
