Taylor To Oldham Reports Dismissed

Media reports claimed that Argyle had accepted a bid from The Latics for the 29-year-old striker, who only joined the club from Blackpool last December, claiming that he had failed to settle in the south-west.

"I have no knowledge of that whatsoever. It has never cropped up," Dunford told The Plymouth Herald.

Only two days ago Oldham chief executive Alan Hardy also denied that his club were close to signing Taylor.

"Yes, Ronnie would be interested in such a player, but no contact has been made with Plymouth, and Scott was not at Boundary Park last week," he said.
