For a second consectutive month, Elliott Ward was voted Argyle Mad's Player Of The Month. Not only that, it was a late surge of voting which saw the West Ham youngster, whose loan spell expired in February, surpass the early leader David Norris.

The voting failed to live up to January's figures, what with only 1 victory - 1 less than the number of defeats - over the 28 days. Compared to the start of year, it could even be considered a blip, even though other results meant that Plymouth didn't lose ground like they might have. Some fans, less enthusiastic this time round, seemed keen to reward loanee Vincent Pericard with 3rd place. His hat-trick versus Coventry was Argyle's first since David Friio's triple against Chesterfield two seasons ago. The frenchman has since started every game with Evans or Chadwick having to make way.

Paul Wotton seems to be back in supporter's good books and unsung heroes, compatriots Romain Larrieu and Lilian Nalis, were recognised for their contributions.
